My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The rooms provided a spacious and charming mini apartment feel with modern furnishings, but the location and room placement left something to be desired. The service was genuinely friendly and helpful, making up for some of the drawbacks.

The hotel is in a perfect location right in the center of Dolgellau, next to pubs and nice restaurants, and close to many hiking routes. The rooms offer every possible amenity and are of a very nice specification, although some cleanliness issues were noticeable. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, offering good ideas for activities in the local area. The dining experience is very good with an excellent choice of dishes made with top-quality locally sourced ingredients.
